Tour Description

Celebrate the three most popular visitor destinations on our Black Hills Greatest hits Full Day Tour.

Your day starts at a time of your choosing, however, we recommend 9:00 AM when you are picked up at your place of lodging in the Rapid City, Keystone or Hill City area.

We will travel in comfort to the following sites in any order you wish to visit them.

1) Mount Rushmore National Memorial, the Shrine of Democracy! Here you will see 4 sculptures of famous Presidents 60 feet in height carved into solid granite. Learn the story of how this amazing feat was imagined, refined, constructed and preserved. Walk the Presidential Trail and see the man-made wonder from many angles;

2) Crazy Horse Mountain Carving, a monument to a legendary Lakota Warrior and historic icon. This is the world's largest mountain carving in progress. Learn the history of the Lakota people, a tribe of Native American hunters who were known as the world's finest light cavalry. They defeated George Armstrong Custer and his cavalry at the Battle of the Little Bighorn;

3) Marvel at the scenic drives and wildlife in Custer State Park. It has 71,000 acres, 1,000 buffalo, historic structures, granite spires and mountain lakes that will leave you breathless.

There is time allotted for an afternoon meal or picnic, but it is not included in the price. When you are ready to eat we will explain your options and you make the decision.

The tour concludes between 5:00 & 6:00 PM when we drop you back to your place of lodging.
